An unshared secret
The Miradouro do Monte Agudo, dating from 1950, is located in the heart of Lisbon, in our neighbourhood of Arroios, between the Colonias neighbourhood and the Dona Luísa de Gusmão Secondary School. Here you can distance yourself from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and enjoy peaceful moments.
Lisbon is the city of 7 hills and from this viewpoint you can see all the ups and downs, colours and rooftops. You can see the various parts of the city from a different perspective and with your family. If you have that spirit, you can also venture out at night and observe the city’s night lights.
Refurbished in 2009, it gained new facilities such as a café with terrace, where you have Lisbon “at your feet”. It also has a pergola to enjoy the hot summer days and shade, as this viewpoint has a Forest Park nearby. Whether you want to enjoy the landscape, have a drink to cool down, chat, read a book, or just sit quietly and rest. It is also a privileged place to practice physical exercise, such as meditation or yoga.
Your favourite place to slow down from the frenetic pace we live. Time goes slowly here!
