An eye-catching secret
It’s no secret that it is a popular sight with all Lisboners, especially those living in the Campo de Ourique neighbourhood, which has one of the largest panoramic viewpoints in Lisbon.
At the top of one of the most emblematic buildings in the capital, in the towers of Amoreiras Shopping Centre, there is a view that fills the eyes of Lisbon. The Amoreiras 360º Panoramic View is one of the highest points in the city, which allows its visitors to enjoy an authentic view of the city. From the top of its 174 metres high above sea level, it is possible to recognise every hill in Lisbon thanks to the 360º panoramic range.
This viewpoint is equipped with free lunettes that allow the main historical points to be brought closer to the viewpoint. Maps are also distributed showing the visible points of the city, such as: the Tagus River, 25 April Bridge, Christ the King, Mãe de Água, Vasco da Gama Bridge, São Jorge Castle, Lisbon Cathedral, Estrela Basilica, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, Ajuda Royal Palace, Belém Palace, Jerónimos Monastery, Águas Livres Aqueduct, Príncipe Real Garden and Eduardo VII Park.
The Amoreiras 360º Panoramic View costs €5 for adults (+16 years old), €3 for seniors (+65 years old) and youngsters (from 6 to 16), and is free for children (under 5 years old).
An excellent family plan for this Christmas, the viewpoint has a family pack costing €14 for two adults and two to three children.
