And for dessert what will it be?
This news is mouth-watering!
The sweetest restaurant in Portugal has opened in the Campo de Ourique neighbourhood. The Raminhos Desserts is the first Portuguese dessert restaurant.
An innovative concept created by Ana Raminhos, where the menu is inverted, as the desserts are the main protagonists of this space. Here they serve more sweet dishes than savoury ones. According to the author, dessert does not imply sugar, Ana defines her recent space as an “artisan’s atelier” that explores new experiences and mixtures of ingredients.
Ana Raminhos graduated in Communication Design from the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa and started her professional career in Graphic Design. However, life took a turn and she started dedicating herself to pastry. With her background in design and her artistic vein, Ana worked in restaurants with different concepts, some of them with Michelin stars, and in various cities, such as Lisbon, London, Barcelona and Amsterdam. She eventually chose to live in Lisbon and open one of the city’s most distinctive restaurants.
A harmonious space that is worth getting to know, whether for the taste, the experience itself, or even for curiosity. One spoonful will not be enough!
